The benefits of juice fasts
* Detoxification (inner cleansing)
Cleaning and excreting wastes, poisons and other chemical products (pesticides, chemical fertilizers, synthetic food coloring, medications, cosmetics, sprays and more) from the liver, the digestive system, the skin and the blood system. "Red" vegetable juice: from carrots, beetroot, cucumbers, zucchini, celery, parsley
"Green" vegetable juice: from cucumbers, celery stalks, zucchini, parsley, sprouts
Advantages: These are low in calories (no sugars); excellent for dieting and particularly suitable for diabetics or those who must restrict sugar intake. Rich in potassium (a natural diuretic), aids in relieving oedema, high blood pressure and kidney stones.
